Term of Use
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the use of MeKo ("Company", "we" or "us"). "). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. The Terms apply to all registered or non-registered users of the Service. By accessing and using MeKo, you agree to be bound by the Terms set forth herein, the Terms as amended in accordance with these Terms, and the User Guidelines based on these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please terminate your use of MeKo immediately.
Additional terms are located at the end of these Terms and may apply separately to users residing in certain countries in addition to the Terms.
1. Prohibited Content
Contains nudity, excessive violence or offensive subject matter or contains links to adult websites. Constitutes or promotes information that you know to be false or misleading, or promotes abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous unlawful activity or behavior. Constitutes or promotes an unlawful or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work. Contains photographs or videos of others that you have posted without their consent; or violates any person's right of privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contractual or any other right. Any other objectionable content.
2. Posting Content
MeKo may reject, refuse to post, or remove any Content for any reason or no reason, including Content that MeKo determines, in its sole discretion, violates this Agreement or is potentially offensive, unlawful, or infringes the rights of any person or entity. After Content is posted, you are solely responsible for the Content you post on or through any MeKo Service, any materials or information you transmit to other Members, and your interactions with other Users.
3. Prohibited Activities
Criminal or tortious activity. Impersonating or attempting to impersonate another Member, person or entity.
Chapter 1 General Provisions
1. Purpose
The purpose of these Terms is to set forth the respective rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Company and you when using MeKo on your personal computer or mobile device (collectively, the "Device") by downloading the service application ("MeKo App") from the Apple App Store (the "App Store") or accessing the MeKo App. ") from the Apple App Store ("App Store") or by visiting the Company-provided Services website ("MeKo Web"). Please note that these Terms govern the legal relationship between you and Company, and that your relationship with the App Store is governed by the App Store's respective terms and conditions.
2. Changes to these Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time as it deems necessary, provided that such modifications do not violate applicable laws and regulations. If the Company changes these Terms, the Company will notify the User of the details of the change, the reason for the change, and the effective date at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date of the change; provided, however, that the Company will notify the User of any changes to these Terms that are unfavorable to the User at least thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the unfavorable change is to take effect. Your continued use of MeKo following the effective date of any change to these Terms shall constitute your acceptance of such change. If applicable law requires a refund for such changes, you will be entitled to a refund accordingly. However, changes in favor of Users or changes due to legal reasons may be effective immediately.
3. Additional Terms
For any matters not covered in these Terms of Use, the relevant laws and regulations, the Terms of Service for each of the Company's services, and the operational policies and rules established by the Company shall apply.
4.Notice and Communication to Users
4.1. When the Company contacts Users regarding matters related to MeKo, it will do so by posting information in the appropriate space on the Company's website or applications, using information provided by Users, or by any other method that the Company reasonably believes to be appropriate.
4.2.If there are any changes to the information entered by the User when registering as a member of the Services, the User must correct that information or notify the Company, and the Company will not be liable for any disadvantages or problems caused by the User's error. Failure to do so.
CHAPTER 2. Ownership Rights and Related Licenses Associated with MeKo
1. Ownership of MeKo Content
1.1 Unless otherwise specified, "Pixel Content" means the text, graphics, images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, and other related phrases made available to Users on the MeKo. Unless otherwise provided by law or contract, all exclusive and proprietary rights in and to MeKo, the MeKo Application, the Service Sites, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the User Guide, and any related documents and information, and the MeKo Content (collectively, the "Company Assets") are owned by MeKo, the MeKo Application, the Service Sites, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the User Guide, and any related documents and information, and the Company Assets. The selection and arrangement of the MeKo Content belongs solely to Company.
1.2 The Company Assets and the selection and arrangement of MeKo Content are protected by copyright and other relevant laws, including international intellectual property laws and treaties. Company Assets include Company's confidential and proprietary trade secrets and proprietary information, and you agree to take all actions necessary to respect and protect the confidentiality of such trade secrets and proprietary information.
1.3 Any new versions, modifications and enhancements of the Company Assets and the selection and arrangement of MeKo Content belong solely to Company and its licensors, as applicable. No implied license, right or benefit is granted to you in connection with the provision of the Company Assets, and Company hereby expressly reserves all rights in the Company Assets and any content thereof not expressly granted to you under this Agreement.
2. Scope of Pixel License
2.1 Company grants you a personal, limited, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, non-assignable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the MeKo Application in object code format solely for the personal use of MeKo on your device. You are licensed to use only the object code version of the MeKo Application and you have no knowledge of the You are only licensed to use the object code version of the MeKo Application and you do not have any rights to the original source code of the MeKo Application. You may only use Company Assets for the purpose of personal use of MeKo.
2.2 Company may revoke or cancel the license it has granted to you at any time if you use Company's assets in a manner that exceeds the scope of the license granted to you under these Terms. Company will notify you immediately of the reasons for revocation/cancellation of your license, except where notification is not permitted by law (e.g., if it violates a statute or order of a regulatory agency or results in the obstruction of a regulatory investigation) or where Company reasonably determines that such notification may cause harm to the User, a third party, or the Company (e.g., if it compromises the security of MeKo).
3. Limitations
3.1 You are granted a limited license to use only the object code version of the MeKo Application.
3.2 You may not use Company assets for any commercial purpose.
3.3 You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate into any language, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Company Assets.
3.4 You may not sublicense, sublease, rent, loan, assign, sell, license, distribute, lease, export, re-export or grant any other rights to any third party in the Company Assets, and your attempts to take any such action are void.
3.5 You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to reconstruct, identify, or discover any source code, underlying ideas, underlying user interface techniques, or algorithms of the Company Assets (specifically MeKo and the MeKo Application) by any means. Meaning whatever.
3.6 You shall not remove, obscure or alter any copyright and/or other proprietary notices contained in or otherwise associated with the Company Assets or any of their content.
3.7 You shall not disrupt, disable or circumvent any copyright protection or other digital rights management mechanisms established to protect the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Company Assets.
Chapter 3. Getting Started with the Service
3.1 Agreeing to the Terms
MeKo includes services available to non-registered users ("Basic Services") and services available only to registered users who complete the registration process and log into their accounts ("Member Services"). The types of Services and the specific details of how to use the Services will be set forth in these Terms, or in separate service use notices or information provided by the Service Provider or Company.
By accessing and using MeKo, you agree to be bound by the Terms set forth herein, the Terms as amended in accordance with these Terms, and the User Guidelines established in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please terminate your use of MeKo immediately.
4. Eligibility
4.1 MeKo may not be used in any jurisdiction that prohibits such services.
4.2MeKo is available only to Users seventeen (17) years of age or older. Any attempt to access or use 4.3MeKo by anyone under the age of seventeen (17) is strictly prohibited and will be considered a material breach of these Terms.
4.4 You hereby confirm that you fully understand these Terms and are capable of complying with them. You may use MeKo only if you are deemed capable of understanding and complying with these Terms.
Chapter 4 Rights and Obligations of the Company and Users
1. Obligations
You must use MeKo in accordance with these Terms, the Terms as amended in accordance with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and any applicable User Guidelines established in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms or the User Guidelines, please stop using MeKo immediately.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not engage in any unlawful or improper activity with respect to the Company's assets, including the following, and if you do or attempt to do so, you may be subject to civil and/or criminal charges under the relevant laws In addition to the restrictions on the use of the relevant MeKo service, you should also comply with the laws and regulations, including the denial of payment of earnings in accordance with Section 6.4, the restriction on receipt of giveaways in accordance with Section 3.6. or suspension or termination of the relevant MeKo account.
2.1 You may not use Company assets for any unlawful purpose or for any purpose not expressly authorized herein.
2.2 You shall not engage in any conduct that impairs, disables or overburden Company's assets to the detriment of MeKo.
2.3 You may not use Company Assets to transmit worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.
3. While using the MeKo, you shall not commit any of the following acts, or any act that Company reasonably deems inappropriate in light of, among other things, the purpose for which the MeKo is provided:
3.1 Violate laws and regulations, court rulings, decisions and orders, and/or legally binding administrative measures;
3.2 Actions that disrupt or may disrupt public order or moral customs;
3.3 Infringement of the Company's and the Company's intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, patents, design rights, etc.), moral rights, proprietary rights, rights of reputation, rights of privacy, any other legal or contractual rights (if applicable) / or third parties;
3.4 Transmitting or posting excessively violent remarks, sexually explicit remarks, discriminatory remarks relating to race, nationality, beliefs, gender, social status, etc., remarks inducing or promoting suicide, self-harm, drug abuse, and other remarks that contain anti-social and offensive content;
3.5 Impersonation of the Company and/or third parties, or intentional dissemination of false information
3.6 account theft, name theft, fraudulent use of credit cards or other inappropriate behavior related to purchases or payments;
3.7 Sending the same or similar photos, voice and/or text messages, etc. to an unspecified number of Users, randomly adding other Users as friends, and other behaviors that the Company determines to be spam;
3.8 Conduct for sales, promotion, advertising, solicitation or other profit-making purposes (except as permitted by the Company), sexual or obscene behavior, solicitation or inducement to prostitution, defamation, libel, harassment or insult of other Users, or use of MeKo for any purpose other than as set forth herein;
3.9 to provide benefits, sympathy or support to criminal organizations and/or anti-social groups engaged in activities such as terrorism, violence, drugs, human trafficking, etc;
3.10. use MeKo to commit financial crimes;
3.11. encouraging other users to participate in religious activities or join religious organizations;
3.14. allowing others to access MeKo using your account by sharing your password or lending your account to others or using another person's account to access MeKo;
3.15 use or access MeKo in any way other than through the interface provided by MeKo.
3.16 Except as permitted by the Company, you may not exchange the right to use MeKo for cash, property or other financial gain.
3.17 You may not commit or engage in any behavior that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, etc.
Chapter 4. feedback
Any comments, suggestions or feedback you submit to Company in connection with MeKo and/or the MeKo Application ("Feedback") shall become the property of Company. Company shall exclusively own all rights to the Feedback. Company shall be entitled to use the Feedback for any commercial or other purpose without any compensation to you or any other person and without treating any Feedback as confidential. You agree that you will not acquire any rights to MeKo and/or the MeKo Application (or any changes, modifications or corrections thereto) by virtue of any Feedback. You acknowledge that the Company is not responsible for any Feedback submitted by you, including its legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality and copyright. You may not assign any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement, as your account is entirely personal to you. The Company may assign any of its rights or obligations under this Agreement or relating to the Company's assets to any third party in accordance with the procedures set forth in the relevant laws and regulations. If Company transfers a MeKo-related business to one of its affiliates, your contractual status, rights and obligations under these Terms, as well as your Registration Information and other User Information, shall be transferred to the transferee of such business, and you consent to the transfer. The business transfers described in this section include not only ordinary business transfers, but also divestitures and other changes of ownership or control.
CHAPTER 5. use of the service
Section 1. Content of the Services
1. General Provisions
1.1 You are solely responsible for your use of MeKo and are fully liable for all actions that occur within MeKo and their consequences. When you register for a password to use MeKo, you are solely responsible for strictly managing it to prevent misuse. The Company may treat any and all actions taken using your registered password as your own.
1.2 The Company may change all or part of MeKo's system of MeKo at any time if the Company deems it necessary to improve the performance or security of MeKo, to change its functionality or composition, to comply with laws and regulations, or to prevent unlawful activities or abuse. In such cases, in principle, prior notice shall be given to the User as far as reasonably practicable of any material change or suspension that adversely affects the User. However, such notice may be given later if such advance notice is not reasonably practicable, is necessary to take measures to improve the security or compatibility of MeKo, or is necessary to prevent abusive behavior or to comply with legal requirements. If the Company is unable to disclose in detail the reasons for or contents of the change, etc., the Company will explain the reasons. If you do not agree to changes to all or part of MeKo, you may be restricted from using all or part of its features.
1.3 The Company uses user information such as service usage history to provide customized services and advertisements to users. This means that advertisements may be included as part of the MeKo provided by Company. Sometimes you may need to use MeKo to view unwanted advertisements. Such advertisements help Company provide MeKo to you free of charge by default and provide a foundation for Company to invest in research and development to better serve our users. Also, in order to provide better service, Company may display on MeKo or send directly to a user's email address a variety of information, including notifications and administrative messages related to the use of MeKo. Company may also display advertisements and other promotional information on MeKo or send such information directly to Users' e-mail addresses, if applicable.
1.4 Company makes every effort to provide the best possible service to Users. However, MeKo may be temporarily suspended due to facility maintenance, scheduled and/or unscheduled inspections for repairs, or for other substantial reasons; in such cases, advance notice of the suspension will be provided on the MeKo service screen, unless there is an emergency such as compliance with a legal requirement or maintenance of the security of the service.
1.5 Company monitors your Content in various ways, including automated and manual methods, to the extent permitted by law and technology, in order to detect Content or inappropriate Content and/or indecency that violates relevant laws, these Terms and/or the User Guidelines. You understand and agree that Company may monitor or review any and all content you transmit or share through MeKo, including your video chat screens.
2. User Level Status
Depending on the region, we may offer different services based on a user's tier status in accordance with our tier status operating policy. In such cases, User Level Status will be granted in accordance with criteria established by the Company. The Company may differentiate the content of the Services for different User Levels, and the Company may change the content of such Services at its sole discretion, depending on our circumstances. Details of such services will be published separately in accordance with the notices provided for in these Terms.
3. Affiliate Partner Services
MeKo may include services and/or content provided by third party service providers affiliated with Company. Responsibility for such services and/or content rests with the third party service provider. In addition, the terms and conditions of service of the third party service provider may apply to such services and/or content. Therefore, please refer to the applicable third party service provider's terms and conditions of service and privacy policy as necessary.
4. Advertisements
Company may place advertisements for Company and/or third parties within MeKo.
